NFCtree puts your card on an NFC chip. A card can be a person or an event: a name or event title, a short line, and your links.

Information we collect

We do not collect any personal information. NFCtree stores all data locally on your device. This data never leaves your phone. We do not have servers, databases, or any backend infrastructure.

NFC access

NFCtree uses NFC only when you save your card to a chip. It checks what is on the chip, saves your card, then checks it again. It does not read other people's chips, and it does not use NFC in the background.

What we do not do

We do not collect names, emails, phone numbers, or any personal identifiers. We do not require account creation. We do not collect location data. We do not use analytics, tracking, or advertising SDKs. We do not sell or share any data.

Data storage

All data is stored locally. If you delete the app, all data is removed. When you save your card to a chip, the chip holds a link with everything on your card: your name or event title, your short line, and your links. That can include a Venmo username, or a Zelle email or phone number, if you add them. Anyone who taps or scans the chip can read all of it, so only add what you are happy to share.

If you make your card on the website, the same applies: what you type stays in your browser on your device, as a saved draft, until you clear your site data. It is never sent to us. We do not have a server to send it to.

Payments

NFCtree does not process payments and never holds money. Venmo and Zelle appear on your card as links to those services, which have their own privacy policies.
