Getting started

Open NFCtree and tap Set up my card. Add a name (or an event title) and a short line, then add your links. When you are ready, tap Save my card to chip and hold your iPhone near the top of the chip.

Can I use it for an event?

Yes. Use the event title as the name and the date and place as the short line. Add Venmo and Zelle so people can pay after a tap. Selling tickets at a school fundraiser or a market table is what it is built for.

How do Venmo and Zelle work?

Venmo opens your Venmo page. Zelle has no payment link, so your card shows your Zelle name and your email or phone, and one tap copies it. People then pay in their bank's app. NFCtree never handles the money.

Which NFC chips work?

NFCtree works with NTAG213, NTAG215 (the usual one) and NTAG216 chips. They come as stickers, cards, keychains and phone-case tags.

How many links fit?

A card with a handful of links fits on an NTAG215 chip. NFCtree checks the chip before it saves, and tells you if your card will not fit.

Can I change the order of my links?

Yes. Press and hold a link, then drag it where you want it.

Which iPhones support NFC?

Saving a card to a chip needs an iPhone with NFC, iPhone 7 or later, running iOS 17 or later.

Can people scan without the app?

Yes. Anyone with an NFC phone can tap your chip and see your links in their browser.

Can I overwrite a chip?

Yes. Change your card, tap Save my card to chip, and hold the same chip again. The old card is replaced. My Card tells you when your chip is out of date.
